The Pont-Audemer plant (Normandy) consists of 9 extrusion lines with a capacity of 17 000 T of which the last line was acquired in 2016.
This last modern line is dedicated to the production of surface protection film.
Films produced by NORDFILM Pont-Audemer are intended for various activities (general market, food packaging, cosmetic, automotive, etc).
To meet the growing requirements of our markets, we have equipped in 2014 our material supply of several filters to remove fine particles and to ensure a consistency in our various productions.
CARACTERISTICS

• Extrusion capacity for low, medium and high density polyethylen.
• Development of EVA based polyethylen.

Line 1 – 2008 :
• 3 layers.
• Winding width 1550 mm.
• Film thickness from 25 to 200 Microns.
• Control of width by ultra sound.
• Control of thickness by direct capacitive Camera.
Ligne 2 – 2011 :
• 3 layers.
• Winding width 2300 mm.
• Film thickness from 25 to 250 Microns.
• Control of width by Ultra sound and by direct measurement station output.
• Control of thickness by Camera to direct capacitive gauge.
• Double Corona treatment.
Ligne 3 – 2013 :
• 3 layers.
• Winding width 2900 mm.
• Film thickness from 15 to 150 Microns.
• Control of width by dual ultra sound system.
• Control of thickness by Camera to direct capacitive gauge.
• Corona treatment by new generation counter roll (guarantee of no crossing of treatment).
• Cooling controlled by condensation system (maintains the better aspects of brilliance and the mechanical effects).
• Management of the windings controlled by plc.
• Material filtration integrated into the dosing system.
Line 4 – 2016 :
• 3 layers.
• Winding width 2450 mm.
• Film thickness from 25 to 250 Microns.
• Control of width by dual ultra sound.
• Control of thickness by contactless camera, capacitive dipstick.
